50 MVA 230 kV for Cardano hydropower plant

SEA is suppling a step-up transformer 50 MVA 230/10 kV to be installed in the hydroelectric plant of Cardano (power of 180 MW) that connects and put into the network the energy produced in the North-East of Alto Adige, ensuring the supply of the Brenner and Val Pusteria rail network. The owner of plant is Se Hydropower together with SEL and Enel Produzione, that is managing from June 2010 10 of 11 ENEL hydroelectric power plants of Alto Adige Enel, whose licenses were awarded to SEL by Provincial Government. SEL has 60% stake in the company.
