SEA's History has been characterized by people with a great passion for the their job.

- 1959: The founding year of SEA as a small laboratory sub-supplier of "Officine Pellizzari S.p.A."
- 1970: First production with own logo “SEA”
- 1975: First manufacturing of Cast Resin Transformer
- 1978: Moving to the new site (actual site)
- 1979: First manufacturing of Liquid filled Power Transformer
- 1993: ISO 19002 by DNV
- 1994: ISO 19001 by DNV
- 1996: Updating to ISO 9001:1994 by DNV again
- 1996: Certification E-C-F for our cast resin transformers
- 1997: Homologation by ENEL for HV power transformers
- 2003: New updating to ISO 9001:2000 by DNV
- 2004: First Petersen Coil homologated by ENEL
- 2006: Certification ISO 14001:2004 by DNV is obtained
- 2008: First Power Transformers 220 kV
- 2008: Furnace transformer 25 MVA / 90 kA
- 2009: Delivery of 120 MVA (the biggest)
- 2009: New headquarters
- 2010: New building and workshop for dry type transformers
- 2010: Certification UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 2009: New headquarters
- 2012: New Layout for Liquid Immersed Distribution Transformers Factory
- 2013: New building and workshop for Liquid Immersed Power Transformers Factory to reach 180MVA and 245kV
- 2013: New Testing Room for Liquid Immersed Power Transformers Factory
